Guaranteed Ride Home

Commuters can use the free GRH benefit for personal emergencies and unscheduled overtime up to four times per year. Best of all, the ride home by cab, rental car, bus, or train is free (excluding gratuity, fuel, and insurance charges as they apply). As an added benefit to your employees, residents, or guests, you can provide your own GRH program to supplement MWCOG's program.

What are the benefits of a Guaranteed Ride Home program?

Imagine a crisis has just occurred requiring an emergency meeting, and it's 4:45 in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the key employee for the situation cannot attend the emergency meeting because her carpool leaves at 5:00 and she has no other way to get home. What do you do? The GRH program was created for situations just like this one and can help employers maintain productivity, increase morale, and continue the flow of business.

Also, offering a GRH program encourages employees and residents to use alternative forms of commuting, such as carpooling and vanpooling, by giving them the peace of mind from knowing they have a way to get home if an emergency situation arises.
