BikeArlington
BikeArlington is a program of Arlington County Commuter Services, within the Department of Environmental Services. BikeArlington is an effort to build on an existing partnership between Arlington citizens, business and County staff to encourage more people to bike more often.
Arlington, Virginia is a great place to get around by bike. More than one hundred miles of multi-use trails, on-street bike lanes, and designated bike routes make it easy for cyclists to get where they need to go. BikeArlington offers free programs and services to help you learn more about local trails and bike lanes, bicycle safety and commuting tips, as well as information about local bicycle events in and around Arlington County. Bike to Work Day
Bike to work day is an annual event held in May to promote biking as an option for commuting to work. Arlington Transportation Partners supports the efforts of BikeArlington and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association to encourage bicycling as a viable, environmentally friendly and cost saving commute choice.
Bike To Work Day - May 18th, 2012
Join thousands of area commuters for a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work. Bike to work day is a FREE event and open to all area commuters. Please be sure to register at BikeToWorkMetroDC.org and receive a FREE t-shirt. Arlington County is hosting three pit stops: Rosslyn, Ballston and Crystal City.
